2018 almost broke me, physically and mentally. With what’s happening politically, socially and with our climate, it was a rough year all around. But it was a very challenging year for me on a personal lever as well, full of heavy but transformative events, major shifts in perspective, and lots of healing. Yet I made it through, and I’ve never felt stronger and more confident.
2018 was tough, but we are tougher, aren’t we?
Finding Grace in Every Day #20
Today I am thankful for:
- My kids, who make me belly laugh almost every day which is good because I briefly forget how expensive they’ve become.
- Completing the #365days challenge on Instagram.
- Celebrating 10 years of self-employment!
- Finally learning to put myself first.
- My health, twisted ankle and all. I’m still alive and well, despite (or maybe because of) the trials I went through in the last few years!
- Nearly 1200 people who went on a mindfulness journey with me – wishing you love, peace and healing!
- Revisiting few old Colorado hiking trails this summer, places I haven’t been to since I first moved here.
- Morning walks with Roxy (coincidentally, we’re both limping so that’s on hold for now).
- Lazy Sunday afternoons on a lake, no worries in sight.
- And most of all, my family – you are the reason I’m here. I love you!
